Knesset Speaker Yoel Yoel Edelstein met today with representatives of the Knesset television channel's new franchisee, CEO Moti Shklar and editor-in-chief Hagai Golan.
Shklar presented the Edelstein with the vision of the channel and the broadcasting schedule. Edelstein told Shklar and Golan that the channel will be measured and tested mainly in its ability to be balanced - as the current operator has been. In addition, due to the repeated requests of workers employed by the current operator, Edelstein requested that they do everything possible to absorb as many employees as possible who have worked on the channel under the outgoing operator.
