The heads of the umbrella organization of task-oriented groups issued a joint statement in response to the State Comptroller's criticism of their affairs in his annual report.
"The funding of the groups from the Agriculture Ministry was done by a professional team and was based on egalitarian and transparent criteria."
The statement was signed by heads of organizations from all sectors, including Druze, Ethiopians and Caucasians, Torah-oriented groups and secular groups including immigrant camps, Benei Akiva, Netiot, The Communities Fund, and others.
