The Tel Aviv District Attorney submitted today an indictment against Akublut Gyokan, a 33-year old Turkish national, for kidnapping his 4-year old daughter and extorting the girl's mother.
According to the indictment, Gyokan took his daughter to Turkey to visit her grandmother after his Israeli wife expressed her desire to divorce. He refused the mother's requests to return the daughter to Israel, and threatened that if she wanted to see her daughter, she would have to move to Turkey.
