MK Moshe Gafni said that he does not favor appointing a haredi judge to the Supreme Court as "the entire structure is against my viewpoint."
Gafni said that if there were one haredi judge they could claim that decisions are against haredim but at least there is one of your representatives here."
Gafni feels that the court "has crossed borders in a dramatic fashion.We are the only country in the world where judges are not elected by the people, there is no monitoring of their actions and they can do what they want. You don't even know how they are chosen."
