Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely toured the Old City Thursday with the three paratroopers portrayed in the famous 1967 picture by David Rubinger at the Western Wall. The tour was part of a Foreign Ministry project spearheaded by Hotovely to mark 50 years since the Six Day War.
The three. Tzion Carasanti, Dr. Itzik Yifat and Haim Oshri reconstructed the route they had taken from the moment they broke through Lion's Gate until they reached the Western Wall.
The three presented Hotovely with the famous picture signed by them.
