Israel's ambassador to the UN Danny Danon has called on the members of the Security Council to act to prevent salaries being paid by the Palestinian Authority(PA) to terrorist murderers.
Danon said that "Taxpayers money from contributing countries are being used on an annual basis to fund terrorists who murdered innocent Israelis."
Danon said in a press conference that 1,000,000,000$ of foreign funds had been paid by the PA to terrorists. He added that "according to Palestinian law, every terrorist tried and imprisoned receives a monthly salary. The more Israelis he murdered, the more time he will spend in jail and he receives a higher salary from the PA. A terrorist sentenced to 30 years in jail receives more than 3000$ a month."
