The director of the Naamat women's organization, Galia Wolloch, has demanded from the head of the Lawyer's Bureau, Effi Naveh, to prevent MK Nissan Slomianski from speaking at the upcoming Lawyer's Conference in Eilat.
Wolloch claimed that Slomianski had suspended himself from the Law Committee after "serious allegations of sexual harassment and improper behavior" had been levelled at him by eight women.
Wolloch added that the police had decided a month and a half ago to open a criminal investigation on the matter and "in these circumstances I feel it is inappropriate that MK Slomianski take part in a panel at the Lawyer's Conference and this would embarrass the other participants."
