The Christian Science Monitor reports that Facebook gave a paid vacation to workers on May 1st so that they could go and demonstrate against President Trump's immigration policies. Other Silicon Valley companies are reportedly also offering workers free time for political activities against the Trump administration.
Some of the companies allow the employees to demonstrate for whichever cause they want, but others demand that the employees state which activities they intend to be involved in.
Numerous rallies and demonstrations have taken place since President Trump's election, some including violence and slogans stating "Not my president."
