In a joint letter by MKs from Likud, Zionist Union, Yesh Atid and Kulanu, they called on the Ministerial Legislative Committee to regulate the status of Shabbat in Israel.
Miki Zohar(Likud) Manuel Trachtenberg(Zionist Union), Elazar Stern(Yesh Atid), and Rahel Azaria(Kulanu) sent a letter stating that a proper regulation of the Shabbat in Israel should be legislated in the spirit of the Medan-Gavison manifesto which balances between reducing and closing commerce and encouraging cultural and recreational activities and limited transport solutions on Shabbat.
