MK Michal Rozin (Meretz) on Sunday participated in an alternative Memorial Day ceremony in Tel Aviv, in which Palestinian Arabs are remembered as well as Israelis.
"Today, of all days, we must remember that the price of blood can and must stop, and that is our mission - to bring that day. The ceremony today will not be complete without the Palestinian families who were not permitted to enter Israel. A message of peace and coexistence is not a threat, that's the way,” said Rozin.
“That's why thousands came here this evening and together we sit side by side, bereaved families, peace activists and a public that calls for a different reality. Together we will remember everyone and the life we can build on this land together,” she added.
