Former Defense Minister Amir Peretz responded to the downing of an unmanned Syrian drone over the Golan Heights by stating that "Assad better not play with fire, as it will scald and scorch him painfully.
"Assad must understand that Israel cannot maintain restraint when its sovereignty is compromised. I rely on the IDF and its soldiers to prevent threats to our territory."
