The national crimes unit of the Israel Police has detained three suspects who hold senior positions in the Samarian Jewish city of Emanuel on suspicion of bribery, fraud and breach of trust.
It is alleged that the main suspect bribed the leaders of the Chabad community in exchange for their support in the 2013 election campaign and is also suspected of receiving bribes from contractors in exchange for advancing their business in the areas of planning and building.
