German Chancellor Angela Merkel has received the Elie Wiesel Prize from the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC in recognition of her contribution to the commemoration of the Holocaust, according to Kol Yisrael government radio.
In a video speech thanking the museum, Merkel said it was a great honor and a great tribute to her and her country.
