Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met with Environmental Protection Minister Zeev Elkin and Economy Minister Eli Cohen on Monday to discuss the issue of Haifa's ammonia tank, which is being closed by a court order.
Netanyahu asked the legal representatives who participated in the meeting, headed by Deputy Attorney General Erez Kaminitz, to examine whether the closing could be delayed by several weeks, in order to find a solution to the problem and prevent the dismissal of thousands of workers.
