A standing-room-only crowd is expected Monday evening at the Moss Arts Center on the campus of Virginia Tech to hear Rabbi Nissen Mangel, the youngest child survivor of Auschwitz, in an event organized by the Virginia Tech community in memory of Professor Livue Librescu - also a Holocaust survivor – who gave his life 10 years ago when he barricaded the door of his classroom, enabling his 22 students to escape a shooting spree that took the lives of 32 others including the student shooter.

April 24 is a significant date for the event as it is both the 10th (Hebrew calendar) anniversary of Librescu’s murder and Holocaust Remembrance Day. Lionel Arie Librescu, the professor's son, will also be speaking at this event, being sponsored by Chabad of Virginia Tech.

The event will be broadcast live on torahcafe.com, starting at 7:00 pm EDT
