An estimated 69.42 percent of French voters have cast their ballot as of 6:00 pm Israel time. That's down a little bit from the 70.59 percent at the same juncture in 2012.
With French media not allowed to make projections until 9:00 pm Israel time, Belgium's RTBF has given Emmanuel Macron 24 percent of the vote, just ahead of Marine Le Pen's 22 percent, as of noon.
