A soldier in the Egyptian army was killed Thursday in an attack on an armored police vehicle in El Arish, west of Gaza, according to Sky News in Arabic.
The attack came a day after a policeman was killed and four others were wounded in an attack by the Islamic State terror group near the Monastery of St. Catherine at the base of Mount Sinai. A gunman suspected in the shooting was eliminated.
