The parents of Israel Defense Forces Lieutenant Hadar Goldin - whose body is being held by Hamas in Gaza, along with that of soldier Oron Shaul and three living Israelis - are calling on the government to deny the benefits of Hamas-affiliated security prisoners imprisoned in Israel, despite the fact that most of them are not taking part in the hunger strike led by terrorists associated with the Fatah faction of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

The Goldins issued a statement that said, "It is not for nothing that Hamas prisoners are refraining from taking part in the hunger strike. Their deluxe conditions in Israeli jails are far beyond imagination and include academic studies, free television viewing, and ongoing supply of books, etc. We are convinced that by applying pressure on Hamas and taking a hard stand against Hamas prisoners in prisons could lead to a breakthrough for the return of Oron and Hadar back home."
