Chairman Ayman Odeh of the Joint List of predominantly Arab parties said on Monday that "Thousands of Palestinian prisoners are on hunger strike today. When they put their heads on the pillow, they dream about freedom, while the prison guard dreams about the prison."
Writing on his Facebook page, Odeh continued, "The difference between the dreams is the difference between the Palestinian people and the occupation. Freedom for the prisoners of freedom. Enough occupation!" The post was accompanied by a picture of hunger-strike leader and convicted murderous terrorist Marwan Barghouti.
