Iran has unveiled an updated version of its Qaher F-313 stealth fighter jet during a weekend exhibition for Iranian President Hassan Rohani, showcasing the achievements of Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan over the last two years.
Official statements say the plane will be "a light close air support aircraft," The jet conducted taxi tests which were broadcast by Iranian media. It is not known if it will overcome critics of the previous version who said it could not fly.
