Terrorist Marwan Barghouti was transferred on Monday to solitary confinement at Kishon Prison at the Jalameh Junction near Kiryat Tivon.
Barghouti is leading a hunger strike by Fatah prisoners held by Israel, which started on Monday. The move followed an op-ed piece in the New York Times explaining the strike.
