Vardit Alon, who was injured when her vehicle overturned in Thailand, landed in Israel Thursday morning after preliminary treatment in Bangkok. She was accompanied by senior Magen David Adom paramedic Avichai Hadad who was sent especially to Thailand to bring her back and treat her en route, ahead of difficult surgery at Tel Hashomer Hospital to deal with neck fractures suffered in the accident.
Alon's boyfriend, Kobi Biton was flown back a few days ago with the assistance of a number of companies and local government and non-governmental bodies.
