Hamas announces 5 executions of accused collaborators

Hamas has announced the execution of five Gaza residents accused of collaborating with Israel, according to local sources cited on Thursday by nrg. According to reports, the execution was to take place at 10 am.

The sources clarified that the five defendants had nothing to do with the assassination of senior terrorist Mazen Faqha about two weeks ago. Palestinian Authority and international human rights organizations noted that this was a violation of PA law, which requires the signature of PA Chairman Abu Mazen prior to execution. The organizations added that courts in Gaza have no legal legitimacy to make such decisions.
