The central committee of the Zionist Union voted to postpone the internal elections in the Zionist Union due to a Britney Spears performance scheduled for the same day- July 3rd. The party explained that since this would be a large event and would lead to traffic congestion and holdups for people who wish to vote. It would also be more difficult to recruit security guards on that day and therefore the election has been postponed.
