The Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Tz'rifin changed its name on Tuesday and will now be called the Yitzhak Shamir Medical Center.
The name of the institution was officially changed at a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Health Minister Yaakov Litzman.
