The Likud faction has responded to criticism voiced by Minister Naftali Bennett against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's construction curbs in Judea and Samaria by saying, "It is amusing to read Bennett's tweets on Prime Minister Netanyahu, who acts with determination, wisdom and responsibility for the security of Israel and for the settlement enterprise."

Netanyahu's party attacked, "Bennett is the last one to preach about standing up to pressure when he, as minister of education, gives in all the way to pressure from the New Israel Fund within the Education Ministry, leaving [Arab nationalist poet] Mahmoud Darwish in the curriculum, giving tenure as a person responsible for citizenship studies for extreme left-wing women, and turning a blind eye to Palestinian incitement in schools in the Arab sector and eastern Jerusalem which are funded by the Ministry of Education at the head of which he stands."
