Coalition Chairman MK David Bitan has responded to the solution of the public broadasting corporation crisis by calling it "a fair compromise that on the one hand matches the line that the Likud led, and on the other hand, that [Treasurer Moshe] Kahlon led."

He explained, "The public affairs department of public broadcasting, funded by public funds, will be composed mainly of broadcasting authority employees, and this is a plan that both sides can live with, which will prevent elections and ensure a good coalition for the state. [It's] good for the Likud, good for Kulanu, good for the media and especially for the people of Israel."
