Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan announced, Tuesday, the imminent establishment of a police enforcement unit consisting of 22 policemen and 5 vehicles that will concentrate on enforcement against trucks and buses, in light of their high involvement in road accidents and the danger posed by them.
Speaking at the annual conference of the Or Yarok (Green Light) association for road safety, Erdan said the unit's activity will include the use of undercover detectives to document the behavior of bus drivers while driving.
