Haredi-religious Jews demonstrated and tried to disrupt construction work on Nahal Arugot Street in Beit Shemesh Monday afternoon. Two of the demonstrators were arrested.
In addition, a number of Haredim are holding a protest vigil against the draft in front of the recruitment office in Jerusalem. The police are maintaining order.
