Chairman Avi Nissenkorn of the Histadrut announced, Monday, a labor dispute in Israel's industrial sector and among employers in the south, against the backdrop of fears of the dismissal of thousands of workers at Haifa Chemicals.

The labor dispute includes all the employers in the private sector, members of the Manufacturers Association, and all the places of work in the south that belong to the public sector, including the Government Companies Authority and its subordinate bodies throughout the south, the Union of Local Authorities and the local authorities in the south, regional councils, government offices, institutes and all the support units in the southern regions.
