Public Security Minister Gilad Edan approved a program for training city inspectors to enforce traffic offenses committed by electric bicycle riders and riders of other electric vehicles.
Application of the protocol will be executed in stages. In the first two months, local authorities will work to notify the public of the developments and the impending enforcement. Starting in the third month, enforcement will take place in the form of warnings only. In the fourth month, enforcement will be applied fully.
