Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Abu Al Ghayt told the Saudi paper "Al Watan" that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas is planning to present a new "peace plan" this Wednesday at the Arab Summit to be held in Jordan.
According to Al Ghayt, the proposal will bring "new solutions to the Palestinian question in light of the expansion of settlements [sic] and the withdrawal of international support from the two-state solution [sic], with the goal of the establishment of an independent Palestinian state."
