The Supreme Court rejected a request to delay the plea bargain with former MK Basel Ghattas (Arab Joint List). Judge Meni Mazuz ruled that there is no reason to grant an intermediate order and announced that a decision would be given as early as possible regarding a petition submitted by right-wing activists Michael Ben-Ari, Itamar Ben-Gvir, Bentzy Gopshtain, and Baruch Marzel.
They had called in the petition to cancel the plea bargain.
