Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev on Tuesday evening blasted the decision by the heads of Galgalatz, Army Radio’s music station, to stop the employment of Mizrahi music critic Avi Shushan.
"Avi Shushan enters a long list of people who were removed from the playlist, such as David D'Or, Arkadi Duchin, Gidi Gov, Maya Buskila, Dudu Aharon and many others,” she said.
“The decision of the commander of Army Radio and Galgalatz is a declaration of war over anything that they perceive as the ‘other culture’. I promise we will fight back,” added Regev.
