Minister Ayoub Kara has told Arutz Sheva that the new public broadcasting corporation should be closed before its scheduled start at the end of April. Calling the corporation more wasteful than the Israel Broadcasting Authority it stands to replace, he said, "The most problematic thing is that workers identified with the extreme left have been absorbed there, so a bit of professional objectivity will not hurt."
Kara said he felt the coalition crisis caused by Treasurer Moshe Kahlon's opposition to this stance will be resolved because nobody wants to go to elections, but if new elections are called, it will be Kahlon's fault.
