Jordan's national carrier, Royal Jordanian, announced on Tuesday that it will ban the use of electronic devices on all its flights on routes between Jordan and the United States.
The company announced on its Twitter account that due to requests from the US government, all passengers on lines going to and leaving the United States should refrain from using electronic devices. The Jordanian company's announcement came against the backdrop of reports in the United States that the authorities intend to ban passengers on several foreign airlines from flying to the United States carrying large electronic devices.
