The Haifa District Court has sentenced a resident of the western Galilee Arab town of Abu Snan to two and half years in prison for running over a policeman and abandoning him afterward.
The defendant was convicted in a plea bargain on charges of aggravated attempt to cause injury, aggravated injury and abandonment after an injury.
