Israel began its game against Chinese Taipei in the World Baseball Classic with four runs and was never headed, winning its group A match 15-7 on Tuesday afternoon in Seoul.
Israel has won its first two games in the tournament. On Thursday it plays the Netherlands, which plays host South Korea on Tuesday in a battle of pre-tournament favorites to take the group.
