Rabbi Yonah Metzger, formerly a Chief Rabbi of Israel, has submitted an appeal to the Supreme Court over a district court's 4.5-year prison sentence for receiving bribes and tax offenses. Rabbi Metzger Metzger requested that the court deliberate on the appeal before the date that he is to enter prison in another 2 months, according to Kol Yisrael.
