Photographer David Rubinger has passed away at 92.
Rubinger took the famous picture of three Israeli paratroopers at the Western Wall of the Temple in Jerusalem after its liberation during the Six-Day War. In 1997, Rubinger became the first photographer to be awarded the Israel Prize in communications, credited with shooting half a million pictures telling the story of Israel.
