The Israeli importer of Toyota" will soon call owners of Corollas manufactured between February 2002 and April 2004, to replace their airbag inflation units.
There is concern that due to Israeli weather extremes, the units may wear out and hurt the driver in case of an accident. The service call will be without charge and cars that don't have it done cannot pass the yearly licensing exam.
