The Knesset has approved the final readings of a bill to advance motor sports in Israel.
As a result, motor sports will have an officially-recognized association which receives support from the Council on Sports Betting. It paves the way for the building of tracks. Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev expressed hope that the international popularity of motor sports will rise in Israel, with a possible impact on tourism, society and the economy.
