A Turkish court on Saturday charged Abdulgadir Masharipov with membership of an armed terrorist group, possession of heavy weapons, multiple counts of murder, and attempting to overturn the constitutional order.
Masharipov killed 39 people in an Istanbul nightclub on January 1. ISIS claimed the attack was in revenge for Turkey's involvement in Syria.
