Tel Aviv District prosecutors submitted indictments to the Tel Aviv District Court on Tuesday, charging Mayor Itamar Shim'oni of Ashkelon, his brother and four others with corruption, money laundering and tax offenses.
Mayor Shim'oni is charged with receiving 466,000 shekels in bribes and another NIS 575,000 from undisclosed sources. He is also charged with tax offenses.
