Newly-appointed Acting Attorney General Dana Boente of the United States has rescinded the last act of predecessor Sally Yates, barring Justice Department staff from presenting arguments in defense President Donald Trump’s executive order barring the entry of people from seven Muslim countries.
Boente based her action on what a statement called "the Office of Legal Counsel’s analysis, which found the Executive Order both lawful on its face and properly drafted."
