A ceremony was held at the Education Ministry on Sunday to sign an agreement merging four religious colleges into one multi-campus institution to train educators for the public religious-school system.
The new arrangement will cover more than 4,000 students from the Giv'at Washington, Hemdat Hadarom, Shaanan and Talpiot colleges. Its goal is to expand the academic horizon of the schools, to improve the quality of the training model for educators and to improve the level of the faculty.
