Ahead of Friday's observance of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Legal Aid Department of the Justice Ministry published data on Thursday related to legal proceedings in which it represented Holocaust survivors, including fighters and partisans from the World War II era.
The figures show that in 2016 4,000 legal aid cases were opened - twice the number of files that were opened in 2014.
