Likud Minister Ofer Akunis said that Jewish Home Chairman Naftali Bennett is putting spin on matters at the expense of the settlers with respect to his calls to immediately annex areas of Judea and Samaria.
In an interview with Reshet Bet, Akunis said that Bennett is not more right-wing than Netanyahu - or himself, for that matter.
He suggested to wait until the PM meets with newly-inaugurated US President Trump , which he assessed would happen next month.
He said that the Likud had been building settlement for the last 40 years - far before Bennett was elected as Chair of his party.
