The Water Authority reported on Tuesday that the water level in Lake Kinneret/the Sea of Galilee rose a centimeter in the last 24 hours.
The lake has to rise 4.76 meters to get to the point where the Degania Dam on the River Jordan would have to be opened to prevent flooding.
