The Environmental Protection Ministry has summoned Israel Railways to a hearing regarding excess pollution at train stations in Tel Aviv and Bat Yam.
The railroad said significant steps have been taken to solve the problem. It added, in a statement, "The operational meaning of the Environmental Protection Ministry's decision is immediate closure, complete or partial, of railway lines that pass through Tel Aviv."
